It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The Tampa Bay Lightning battle it out on the ice against the Montreal Canadiens in Week 13 of the 2014-2015 regular season on Tuesday, January 6 at 7:30 p.m. EST at the Bell Centre in Quebec. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Tuesday night hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
Following the first few opening weeks of the regular season, the Lightning snag the impressive No. 7 spot in Pierre LeBrun's official NHL power ranking for ESPN.com with a 25-12-4 record:
"My favorite statistic is the 5-on-5 goals for/against ratio. To me, it tells you how a team is going to fare in the playoffs when special teams aren't as prevalent. The Lightning are second at 1.35, second only to the Predators (1.47)."
Meanwhile, the Canadiens currently hold the steady No. 4 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 26-11-2 record. According to LeBrun:
"Well, I picked a Montreal-Chicago Stanley Cup finals in September and while the analytics community will keep saying the sexy stats are going to bring the Habs down (which they might), the Canadiens continue to defy -- winners of six straight, they're the hottest team in the NHL."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels SunS and RDS, but fans can also listen in on the radio at 620 WDAE, WGN, 98,5 FM, and TSN 690.
