Demi Lovato and Niall Horan: Post-VMA Taco Date Suggests Budding Romance

Rumors surrounding a Demi Lovato-Niall Horan romance have been swirling all summer. And although the "Give Your Heart a Break" songstress claimed in a recent iVilliage interview that she's not looking to date right now, it looks like the two megastars truly do enjoy spending time together - alone. Following Thursday night's MTV VMAs in L.A., Lovato and the One Direction heartthrob were seen hitting up a Pink Taco restaurant to hang out and grab some grub - with no entourage in sight.

The Lovato-Horan dating rumors were fueled this week when a source who spoke to Us Weekly said the two were spotted at the trendy L.A. taco joint late Thursday. Looks like the "What Makes You Beautiful" star preferred to celebrate his three VMA wins with a quite night alongside Lovato than at any of the wild VMA after parties that were surely going on at the time. Both Horan and Lovato had extremely successful nights - "Best Video with a Message" was snagged by Lovato's "Skyscraper" and One Direction walked away with "Most Share-Worthy Video," "Best New Artist," and "Best Pop Video."

It seems fellow One Direction members would approve of Horan dating Lovato - in a game of "Rapid Fire Romance" during an interview with etalk, the band deemed the two X-Factor stars a "perfect match." Band mate Harry Styles teasingly said, "Niall dreams dirty things!" Lovato has also had her eye out on Horan - in an interview earlier this year she gushed that the 18-year-old was "adorable."

Horan's birthday is coming up soon (Sept. 13). Wonder if 20-year-old Lovato will join in on the festivities?
