Starring a small-town girl (Meredith Hagner) dreaming of becoming famous, only to sit back and watch her father (Matt Walsh) stumble into YouTube celebrity, Hits is a great examination of pop culture and viral video fanaticism that we think we can all enjoy and laugh about. This movie will surely make you take a step back and rethink what's going on in America these days. Hits has yet to receive a release date, but we're guessing we'll be able to watch it in 2015. Here is the official synopsis of the film (via Slash Film):

Hits is a dark comedy exploring the nature of fame in 21st century YouTube America. The film takes place in a small town in upstate New York populated by people who trade in unrealistic expectations. It's a story in which fame, delusion, earnestness, and recklessness meet, shake hands, and disrupt the lives around them.
