The adorable Hollywood couple initially sparked romance rumors back in July. And after only six months of dating, they celebrated their happy engagement on Christmas Day (2014). Now, Vergara is busy planning the wedding ceremony. But does she already have babies on the mind?

The beloved Colombian-American starlet beat thyroid cancer back in 2000. Despite her strength and determination, Vergara underwent several bouts of radiation therapy while fighting the sickness. Such processes make carrying a healthy baby somewhat risky (via HollywoodLife.com). So while dating wealthy buisnessman Nick Loeb, Vergara began researching surrogacy. Soon after, she was freezing her fertile eggs in hopes of increasing her chances at motherhood. But the couple later broke-off their engagement in May 2014. According to the infamous gossip tabloid Us, Vergara ultimately stopped such procedures "because she realized things weren't working with Nick."
