Rapper Lil Wayne has yet to settle his ongoing feud with Cash Money Records CEO Bryan "Birdman" Williams. Still, that doesn't mean the "A Milli" superstar is ditching his YMCMB crew to join "rviral" emcee Jay-Z over at Roc Nation!
But at this point, who knows what might happen... fans just continue waiting for the highly-anticipated release of Weezy's new album, The Carter V!
So, what's up with the rumors that Birdman sold Beyonce's hubby his top money-maker's contract for a whopping $50 million? And HOV actually agreed!
The shocking report was initially posted by nahadaily.com - a SATIRICAL celebrity gossip website. So obviously, these quotes are totally fabricated!
Apparently, despite Jay's "bad blood" with his fellow hip-hop mogul, he was eager to "buy" Weezy's freedom back. And supposedly this isn't he first time Birdman "threatened" to drop Tunechi...
"Birdman and I have had conversations about Wayne signing with me before," the "Holy Grail" rapper allegely said during a recent interview (one that never actually took place). " All of a sudden he starts threatening to sue me. But now he was knocking my door down trying to sell. I guess things change when things start getting repossessed."
Interesting...
As for the former Big Tymers hypeman:
"I never do anything just for money. It's mostly about my family. Wayne isn't my son or family anymore so it wasn't hard to sell his contract in order to pay all these back taxes, back rent and buy a cleaning rag for my gold grill."
