During New York Comic Con 2014, cosplayer Robert Franzese walked across the halls of the Jaco Davits Center in his Family Guy costume. Surrounded by fans of the popular animated Fox show, the real-life Peter Griffin was spot-on in his impersonation, becoming an instant viral sensation.
Transcribed by GossipCop, Franzese explains how the cosplay came about, "The impression just came natural to me, almost like an inst. So I slapped together stuff that I had. I happened to have green pants from St. Patrick's Day, I have a white button-down shirt, because everybody has one. I had round glasses because I do Santa Clause for a company. I slapped it together and was like, 'Great, Peter Griffin!"
Notice how everyone at NYCC was to take a picture with the real-life Peter Griffin. Family Guy creator Seth McFarlane should hear how the voice impersonator says, "Where the hell are my He-Man figures! And that's what grinds my gears."
