Togetherness is the highly anticipated new HBO comedy series about friendship, parenthood and dealing with difficulties as an adult. Starring Amanda Peet, Mark Duplass, Steve Zissis and Melanie Lynskey as the central cast, we get to experience just what its like to fail, move in with your friend who has a family, and just basically try to figure your life out. Duplass also serves as creator with his brother, Jay. The premiere episode is entitled "Family Day," and we've got some great photos and videos to share with you as a season one preview! From the looks of this opening episode, we're going to be meeting some great characters. Zissis portrays Alex, an out of work, out of luck actor that needs a place to live. His buddy Brett (Duplass) attempts to convince Alex to stay in L.A. while also having to deal with his wife Michelle (Lynskey). You see Michelle is having trouble with her unmotivated sister, Tina (Peet), who is in town. As you can see, the cast comes together quite quickly in the first episode!
In the first clip from this weekend's series premiere, we get a glimpse into Alex and Brett's relationship. Obviously Brett is trying to help Alex in many ways in the show, but this one instance has a pretty messy ending. Watch this preview clip of Togetherness right here:
Not only does Alex have to deal with Brett, he starts an interesting friendship with Tina, too. In the synopsis of the episode, Tina confronts an old ex, and Alex is there to help her out.
