Get ready to hear them "Roar." Katy Perry might be taking over the Super Bowl Halftime show this year, but the "Dark Horse" beauty is bringing along some help for the once in a lifetime event. While it was being speculated that she was going to have some special guests making appearances during the show, Perry let the cat out of the bag a little early and revealed that Lenny Kravitz is going to be sharing the stage with her for part of the concert event.
According to E! News, very much in the same vein as Bruno Mars inviting the Red Hot Chili Peppers to sing with him, Perry is doing the same with Kravitz. The event, which takes place the first Sunday in February at the University of Phoenix, will see the Pop Princess and the King of Rock 'N Roll joining forces, to bring the house down.
Perry opened up in an interview with NBC, where she talked to reporter Willie Geist about the collaboration.
"My first special guest is going to be an incredible rock n roll icon, a guitar god," the star explained, before revealing, "I'm going to have Lenny Kravitz on the show!"
Not only did she reveal Lenny's name, but she also explained he would be the "first" guest, so does that mean there will be more set to take the stage with her?
"He's got so much style. He's the coolest. He's the King of cool," the star explained. "He's going to make me so much cooler that day."
As for what the two are planning on doing during the performance, Katy remained coy saying "we'll see."
