Lando Calrissian is retuning to the Star Wars universe, with iconic actor Billy Dee Williams reprising his role as the infamous space pirate, surprisingly talented business administrator and bad-deal maker in an episode of Disney XD's Star Wars spinoff series, Star Wars: Rebels. Undeniably the coolest character from the original Star Wars movies — easily beating out Harrison Ford's Han Solo for the simple fact that he's immeasurably cooler and did a hell of a lot more to blow up a Death Star — '"galactic entrepreneur" Lando reportedly will be figuring out how to be the suave, Leia-hitting on, Death Star killer we all know and love. Just wait till you hear those sultry tones purr "The name's Calrissian, Lando Calrissian." You old smoothy, Billy Dee.

Star Wars: Rebels is set in the murky period between the end of Star Wars Episodes III: Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV: A New Hope "while the Empire spreads tyranny through the galaxy," and follows the adventures of the crew of the spaceship Ghost: the 'street smart' Ezra, 'cowboy Jedi' Kanan, 'the pilot' Hera, Zeb 'the muscle', Sabine 'the explosive artist', and Chopper the 'grumpy astromech droid'.

According to Entertainment Weekly, as "Rebels is a prequel," Billy Dee will "play a younger and less experienced version of the smooth-talking space pirate. 'He's still working on all of his moves, all of his strategies," supervising director Dave Filoni told EW.
"This is a real good introduction, to who he is, all the things you've heard about him," says Billy Dee.

All we want to know is if he's already lost the Millennium Flacon to Han or not...
