It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The Vancouver Canucks battle it out on the ice against the Nashville Predators in Week 14 of the NHL regular season on Tuesday, January 13 at 8:00 p.m. EST at Bridgestone Arena in Tennessee. Heading into the first few weeks of the 2014-2015 regular season, the Canucks snag the No. 13 spot in Pierre LeBrun's official power rankings for ESPN.com with a 23-14-3 record:
"Back-to-back home losses to the Panthers and Flames, and suddenly goals are hard to come by for the Canucks."
Meanwhile, the Predators currently hold the impressive No. 1 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 28-9-4 record. According to LeBrun:
"So much to like about the Predators, and they lead my favorite statistic: 5-on-5 goals for/against ratio, at 1.53."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels RSNP and FSTN, but fans can also listen in on the radio at Team 1040, CKNW, WBUZ, and WNSR.
