Comedian Michael Elliot "Mike" Epps apparently has it out for fellow funnyman, Chris Rock.

According to "The Hangover" star (fans will remember him as "Black" Doug), Rock's new movie "Top 5" is an epic fail. The best part... he hasn't even watched it yet!

During a recent interview with The Tom Joyner Morning Show, Epps blasts:

I haven’t seen it. I don’t know why they called it ‘Top Five” there wasn’t one good comedian in the whole movie. I don’t know why they keep giving Chris Rock opportunities. He’s a great standup and a good Meerkat. When do these white people – they’re blind. They keep giving the wrong dude opportunities.

Ouch! What's up with the blatent hate? Perhaps Epps is jealous of Rock's own fame and success?

Well, several Twitter fans continue praising the recently-released comedy:

@NataliaCbrra: "Movie night at my favorite place @ipictheaters TOP FIVE is a must see the funniest movie I've seen in a long time..."

@willnoonan: "Just saw .@chrisrock 's movie "Top Five" and it was awesome man. The cameos were all hilarious and there's a great love story. #goseeit."

@lindsalexandra: "@TopFiveMovie is a great feel-good movie. Incredible cast (@JayPharoah, Leslie Jones- I see you!) and producing team, & music (@questlove!)"

@dumbfoundead: "Finally saw 'TOP FIVE' and loved it! It's like the homie made the movie or something."

@HustleSimmons: "Shout out to DMX he had the funniest part of TOP FIVE ...and shout out Jerry Seinfeld for shouting out @Wale in the movie."

Still, like Epps, others were not so impressed...

@donetodeath: "Top Five was not very good. Had a few funny moments, but is mostly just a bland popcorn movie. Not sure why it's getting such great reviews."

@nhannahjones: "I finally saw Top Five. Could not believe no one in movie said 2Pac, despite East Coast bias. Mine: 2Pac, Nas, Andre 3K, Missy Elliot, Jay Z."

@simpingNpimping: "Top Five was really a waste of a money, all of them funny people in one movie, and it was a disappointment."

Is Epps' take on Rock's work fair? The former SNL superstar has yet to respond to the rather hateful comments on either Twitter or Instagram, but he's a rather outspoken (and obviously witty) individual, so stay tuned...

"Top Five" opened in theaters back in December. According to a Wiki description:

'Top Five' has received critical acclaim. The directing and writing of Rock has been hailed and called a career-best from him, drawing comparisons to Woody Allen. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film holds a "Certified Fresh" rating of 87%, based on 127 reviews, with an average rating of 7.4/10. The critical consensus reads, 'As smart, funny, and trenchant as writer-director-star Chris Rock's best standup work, Top Five is a career highlight for its creator -- and one of the comedy standouts of 2014.' On Metacritic, the film has a score of 81 out of 100, based on 35 critics, indicating 'universal acclaim.'

How about that, Epps?
