Gangnam Style: Psy Not Meaning To Take Over the World, Just Yet

"Gangnam Style" when translated refers to an over the top rich area in South Korea comparable to the famed Beverly Hills in California. When Psy sings "Oppa Gangnam Style," he is referring to himself as "Oppa" and claiming that he is Gangnam Style.  "Oppa's" meaning is "elder brother" and females in Korea use it in a friendly to refer to a male who is older than herself.

Gangnam Style has become the most liked Youtube video as of today, September 14, 2012.  It is considered the 5th most viral video of all time according to a study by Visible Measures with over 160 MILLION views since the Youtube music video first debuted on July 15, 2012.

Psy is not an artist who sells himself with good looks and a fan base of young teenagers who want to "marry" him.  Mstarz believes he is an artist who has helped to bring back the fun and joy in music and dance, and he has crosses over the language barrier that many have fought to cross over for years.
