Demi Lovato and Niall Horan Dating: One Directioner has 'No Time' For Girlfriend

Some One Directioners (as well as some fellow band mates themselves) are pushing for a Niall Horan and Demi Lovato romance. Although the pop star duo has been spotted spending some one-on-one time together, it doesn't look like an exclusive relationship is bound to form anytime soon. According to 19-year-old Horan, he's too busy to keep up with a girlfriend right now - he finds it hard enough to overcome laziness and go hang out with friends.

The "What Makes you Beautiful" heartthrob told Britain's Daily Mail, "I try to go and see my friends but that's easier to do than go out with a girlfriend. I couldn't be bothered, and it's pure laziness on my part. Traveling around the world and all the promo that we do - it doesn't leave time for a girlfriend. It really doesn't."

Even so, Horan was spotted on a post-MTV VMA "date" with the "X-Factor" star at a Pink Taco restaurant in L.A. last week. Both are young celebrities with a lot of things on their plate - they deserve the occasional "flirty" night out on the town. That doesn't mean fans should expect an official "Demi and Horan dating" headline anytime soon.

20-year-old Lovato also said she has no time for boys right now in a recent interview with iVillage: "There's actually nothing that a guy can do to change my mind right now. It doesn't matter how frickin' good-looking you are, or funny, or how in love with them I am. Right now, there's nobody more important to me than myself and my recovery."

Horan insists Lovato is just a friend, stating, "Demi is really cool and we're really good friends." 

One Directioners, keep your fingers crossed, maybe Horan and Lovato will find that they both miraculously have time for a relationship sometime soon!
