Ian Somerhalder is clearly infatuated with "The Twilight Saga" sweetheart, Nikki Reed. The adorable Hollywood couple has only been dating for a few months now, but are they already secretly engaged!?

Rumors suggest that "The Vampire Diaries" heartthrob popped the big question over the holidays. An alleged insider for the seedy webloid InTouch reveals:

"Nikki said she wears the ring on her right hand because they want to keep it quiet for now. They mentioned a June date, they are really excited."

Still, Nina Dobrev's ex-lover has yet to make an official announcement. Perhaps he doesn't want to hurt his current co-star... they were in a rather serious romantic relationship for quite some time before Reed entered the picture.

According to HollywoodLife.com, 26-year-old Reed flaunted her engagement bling at the Golden Globes post-party earlier this month.

Apparently, the couple shopped for rings just days prior to the event, although Somerhalder was already prepared as early as December 10. Another source explains:

They looked at some engagement rings, including a 14K. gold diamond slice halo ring and an 18K. gold green halo diamond ring - both designed by Livin, and an 18K. large chocolate diamond ring by White Cloud."
