Rosie O'Donnell Addresses Rumors About Rosie Perez And 'The View' On Thursday's Show [VIDEO]

Rosie O'Donnell is setting the record straight about the rumors of the show sinking and that Rosie Perez will not be returning.

MStars News previously learned that the talk of the town is that Perez is done with The View after taking her hiatus to work on Broadway.

Now O'Donnell is clearing up those allegations and said on the show Thursday, Jan. 15, that the rumors aren't true.

"OK, here we go again, Whoopi is resting and will be back next week on Tuesday," Rosie said, as the audience claps. "Her back is healing, thank the Lord above, and no matter what you read anywhere, Rosie Perez is also coming back after she is done rehearsing her play ... the play that she's starring in opens soon, and then she will be back here at her job, regardless of what you hear in other shows or read in magazines, as I did at 11:40."

So there you have it: Straight from The View's co-host Rosie O'Donnell that the show isn't leaving and Whoopi will be returning as well as Rosie Perez.

MStars News previously reported that Michelle Williams addressed the rumors that Beyoncé was pregnant with her second child while sitting in for Whoopi Goldberg as she recovers from being in the hospital.

Goldberg said:

"[It] is something that has been so painful it made me wish to have my period back again."

The 59-year-old added, "I'm back sooner than anybody thinks," Whoopi said to the show, "and I'm stronger than ever."
