Is he or isn't he? That has been the question that has been on everyone's minds since the shocking confession on last week's episode of Vanderpump Rules regarding star Jax Taylor. The 35-year-old server at SUR has been dealing with gay rumors after his former "roommate" made an appearance during the episode. While the star is saying the network has set him up as a ratings ploy, his co-stars are telling a different story.
According to Radar Online, the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills spinoff says they think Jax shared a relationship with John Waters, who appeared Monday, Jan. 12's episode of the show. Waters was Taylor's roommate during his time modeling in Miami, but it is being speculated that the relationship was more than just friendly.
"The rumors have been circulating for years," a source explained. "Everyone knew about it a long time ago. It's nothing new or surprising."
While the cast of the show is saying that the relationship might have happen, they aren't quick to classify Jax as gay or straight.
"He was really young when he lived in Miami," an insider revealed, adding, "it was just a life experience."
The insider also revealed that no one on the cast is judging him for the relationship.
"Sure they judge him for dumb things he's done, but definitely not for this!" the insider explained. "No one is treating him any differently."
As for Taylor, he doesn't seem too worried about the rumors, explaining, "People can think what they want. I don't care," according to The Inquistr.
The site is also revealing that the rumors seem to have helped to increase ratings as the series has drawn an average of 1.23 million viewers for this season.
