It was a rivalry made in tabloid heaven as the media pitted — no pun intended — Angelina Jolie against Jennifer Aniston. Reports claimed that the two hated each other after Angelina moved in on Jennifer's man at the time, Brad Pitt. But it seems the Friends star no longer holds any ill feelings toward the new Mrs. Pitt.
Jennifer spoke out to Entertainment Tonight reporter Jason Dundas, where she explained that she harbors no hard feelings toward the 39-year-old actress.
"I think that's slowing coming to an end. I really do," the star explained to the site, adding that the feud is "just tiresome and old. It's like an old leather shoe."
The 45-year-old actress even applauded Jolie on her new flick, making us believe that any rivalry never existed.
"[Unbroken] is so beautiful and wonderful and [Jolie] did such a gorgeous job and I think it's time people stop with that petty B.S. and start celebrating great work ... and stop with the petty kind of silliness," the star explained.
It might be love that is making Aniston let go of any resentment, if there even was any to begin with regarding Jolie, as she gushed about her new fiance Justin Theroux in the November issue of Harper's Bazaar.
"It's almost impossible to get bored with one another. We've tried so hard!" Jennifer told the magazine. "And even that's interesting because his eyes are so pretty, but we can entertain ourselves and talk about endless things, which is pretty great."
