It's a rare thing for a wedding to actually come out of one of these love-seeking reality shows, but The Bachelorette star Desiree Hartsock is proving that true love can conquer all. The star of the ninth season of the hit ABC matchmaking show found love on her season when Chris Siegfried proposed to her in the season finale. Now, less than two years after the season ended, the two have made things official by becoming husband and wife.
E! News is reporting that the couple said "I do" over the weekend in a church ceremony in Palos Verdes, California.
"They were so excited to get married. They didn't want to wait another day," a source explained to the new site. "When Chris first saw Des walking down the aisle, he was amazed at how beautiful she was. The ceremony was very emotional and sweet. They kept it very short as they walked out holding hands and kissing."
The source also reported that the private ceremony only lasted 15 minutes, as the couple exchanged vows to one another.

The former reality star explained earlier this year to Ryan Seacrest that her and Chris's relationship is one that she sees lasting forever.
"I know Chris and I are going to last and I know we're going to get married and have a future," the star explained, adding, "I just think when you know, you know."
While she credits the show for helping her find the love of her life, she also explained that she would have formed the same connection with him had they met over a cup of coffee.
"I feel our relationship started very naturally, and to be honest, we are each other's best friends," Desiree explained. "I truly believe, regardless of the show, or if we met at a coffee shop, we'd still be together."
