The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster has been extremely open about her struggle with Lyme disease, both on and off the Bravo reality series. The fan-favorite housewife has been keeping audiences captivated by her upbeat personality and optimistic attitude on RHOBH this season, but it seems that the housewife has been facing a struggle at home, as her Lyme disease has made a sudden reappearance.
The reality star opened up in a personal blog post about her battle with the illness and she let fans know what she has endured over the last three years in her struggle.
"Most of you know I have been battling Lyme disease for the past three years," the star wrote. "I wasted the first year trying to get diagnosed and spent the next two trying to find a cure. I have gone from the conventional long-term antibiotics to about every holistic protocol there is to offer. Unfortunately, I was only able to get to about a 60 percent recovery until I relapsed in early December and have not been able to find my way back."

During her relapse the star says that she has lost some of her basic motor functions.
"I have lost the ability to read, write, or even watch TV, because I can't process information or any stimulation for that matter," the star revealed. "It feels like someone came in and confiscated my brain and tied my hands behind my back to just watch and see life go by without me participating in it."
However, despite her diagnosis and struggle, Yolanda is maintaining her upbeat attitude, as E! News reports that she has had her family including hubby David Foster, and daughters Bella and Gigi Hadid to keep her strong.
"I am so blessed with the unwavering support of my husband, my children, and a handful of true friends," the star wrote, adding "I would like to thank you for all your sweet messages and support on social media."
