While British songstress Adele has focused most of her powerful music and lyrics on heartbreak and lost love in the past, looks like the 24-year-old "Someone like You" star is ready to reveal a lighter, happier side as a soon-to-be mommy. According to Us Weekly, pregnancy has made "a big impact on her songwriting," and fans will witness Adele's new, exciting approach to singing and songwriting on her upcoming third album.
Little else is known about Adele's follow-up album to her critically-acclaimed 2011 release "21" (which makes sense, Adele and hubby Simon Konecki are probably hard at work preparing for the baby's arrival which some sources say may take place any day now).
Falling in love with Konecki and waiting in blissful anticipation for her own little bundle of joy has positively affected the Grammy Award winner. According to one inside source, "[The new album] will be lighter than her last ode to [a] break-up. The pregnancy has had a big impact on her songwriting. She is lying low and focusing on becoming a mum. The baby is healthy and she's so excited."
Other side-effects of Adele's pregnancy - an intense craving for Shepherd's pie and a vow to give up swearing.
Adele also has some other news to smile about - Daily Mail reports that Christopher Bailey, head of the British high-end fashion brand Burberry, apparently wrote the songstress asking if she would like to act as ambassador and consultant on a new Burberry clothing line geared towards curvy women. No more heartbreak for Adele, looks like she has a lot to celebrate!
