It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The Chicago Blackhawks battle it out on the ice against the Pittsburgh Penguins in Week 15 of the regular season on Wednesday, January 21 at 8:00 p.m. EST at the CONSOL Energy Center in PA. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Wednesday evening hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
Following the first few opening weeks of the 2014-2015 regular season, the Blackhawks snag the No. 8 spot in Pierre LeBrun's official NHL power rankings for ESPN.com with a 29-15-2 winning record:
"So Joel Quenneville is going to owe me for this, but I'm dropping the Blackhawks -- my Stanley Cup pick in the preseason -- lowering them six spots in the Power Rankings, in order to wake them up from their midseason boredom."
Meanwhile, the Penguins currently hold the No. 10 spot (out of 30 teams) with a 26-12-7 record. According to LeBrun:
"Weekend losses to the Islanders and Rangers with Marc-Andre Fleury pulled on Sunday. A little dip in their play of late."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channel NBCS, but fans can also listen in on the radio at WGN, WBUZ, 105.9 The X, and WNIO.
