'The Vampire Diaries' And 'The Originals' Daniel Gillies And Rachael Leigh Cook Pregnant With Second Child: 'She's All That' Star Ecstatic

She's All That's Rachael Leigh Cook and her hubby Daniel Gillies are about to be parents for the second time. The Vampire Diaries actor and his wife, who wed in 2004, are adding another bundle of joy to their family. Cook, who plays Kate Moretti on the TNT series Perception and Gillies, who stars as Elijah Mikaelson, on TVD and The Originals couldn't be happier by the surprise news, as they explained their excitement in a statement earlier this week on being pregnant with their second child.

According to E! News, Cook and Gillies are about to add another baby to their growing family. The couple welcomed daughter Charlotte Easton Gillies into the world in 2013 and have just revealed that they are giving her a baby brother or sister.

"We're as happy as we were surprised by this wonderful news! We haven't slept since 2013 and welcome advice from all parents who survived Two Under Two," the couple jokingly revealed in a statement.

Cook might have gotten her body back into post-pregnancy shape earlier this year, which can be seen in a nude photo Daniel posted of her to his Twitter account, but it looks like she's going to have to go through the body changes again pretty soon.

He captioned the Twitter picture, "female body in the ruinous aftermath of pregnancy."

The star also gushed about his daughter on his Twitter account shortly after she was born in September 2013.

"It's a girl. The tiny new empress of my everything. She's immaculate. We're delirious," the star tweeted.
