Showtime has added a new addition to the award-winning cast of the critically acclaimed crime drama, Ray Donovan. Will the upcoming Season 3 confrontation between leading man Liev Schreiber and recurring guest star Ian McShane go "beyond the Donovan family?"
The Scream 2 actor previously told Variety in an interview, describing his character, "Ray is the kind of person who would die for his family. I don't know that his marriage can ever truly be over. As bad as it gets, as bad as he behaves, he'll never be able to separate himself from it. Whether or not they're living under the same roof, he'll always be married to Abby."
According to TV Line, series creator Ann Biderman told the Television Critics Association press tour that this third season will "get a little bit beyond the Donovan family."
The site always states that the We Are Marshall actor will play a recurring role on the cable drama. Viewers should be prepared to meet Malcolm Finney, a prominent movie producer. The billionaire hires Ray to get his family out of a potentially catastrophic situation.
Audiences previously met McShane and his former co-star, Paula Malcomson, as Al Swearengen and Trixie on the critically acclaimed HBO western drama, Deadwood. Audiences will be anxious to see a Deadwood reunion if Malcolm crosses paths with Abby.
