Lucy Hale and Chris Zylka Break Up: Actor is Heart-Broken on Twitter, Compliments Hale Sincerely

It has come to light that Lucy Hale officially broke up with Chris Zylka.  Break up drama began after Zylka posted on Twitter a simple response revealing his broken heart.  Hales' fans did not like what he wrote and blasted the actor.  Hale doesn't seem too affected by the split and was even spotted outside with another hottie, Colton Haynes.

The world did not know their break up was coming until a fan tweeted to Zylka, "Your girlfriend is gorgeous and sorta perfect. Just thought you should know."

Zylka responded back, "Don't have a girlfriend - she decided she was too good."  It immediately brought words of sympathy and also words of anger from Hale fans.

The fan who asked the question responded back, "‏Ohhh whoops...I'm sorry :("

Another Twitter user, "no respect for you man. i know i don't your relationship but you had no right tweeting that about lucy."

After all the dramatic reactions, Zylka tweeted, "If you all even knew :("

He appears to be sincerely heart broken about the split and explained on Twitter that he did not mean to say anything harmful towards Hale.

"Never any disrespect towards anyone. Only if you say what you say you should stick to it. If you say you love then love."

This all happened on Sept 16, 2012.

Two days later, on Sept. 18th, he explained some more and poured good words about his now ex-girlfriend Lucy Hale.

‏"I'd like to apologize about my previous comments. Lucy is not only one of the most talented people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing"

"But also one the most beautiful inside, and out. Anyone who's ever watched, or had the pleasure of meeting her knows this to be true"

"I apologize for tarnishing any view anyone has on this amazing women. I had the honor of loving her. That love will never fade, as your love should never fade from her is well. She's going to change the world one day. And the last thing I want to do is be any reason for her to look bad in any way. She a remarkable human with an infectious personality, and a heart bigger than anyone's I've ever known. Proud to love her. And I'll continue to be her biggest fan as I know she will to me too. Love you all and be well and don't forget, ARIA RULES!!!!!"

He must have received a lot of hate messages from Hale fans prior to these sweet messages about her.

Fans immediately applauded Zylka for his confession of love and respect for Hale, and to clear up the misunderstanding.

@CarlosChild tweeted, "So happy you're single again! lol"

"OMG. you're soooo cute!!" another user @sgomezfever wrote.

Instead of bashing his former sweetie, Zylka proved to be a real gentleman.

Hale, on the other hand, has not expressed much about the break up.  She has been spotted outside with another hottie, Colton Haynes.  With the gossip sites trying to make a story about it, they claim that she is dating him.  However, the actress denied any romance.

"He's just a friend... Although I would be very lucky to have him on my arm! We're just friends," she said.
