The latest round of WWE rumors deals with Roman Reigns, John Cena, Rusev, and Randy Orton, so let's get right to it. As always, these are just rumors, so please treat them as such.
Reigns won the 2015 Royal Rumble last night and the crowd absolutely hated this match, especially after Daniel Bryan came in as the 10th entrant but was the 11th man eliminated. Bray Wyatt took him out, which completely deflated the crowd. That sadness turned to anger as the crowd revolted with numerous chants and boos, even when The Rock was in the ring.
This was a similar reaction to 2014, when Batista won, received a chorus of boos, and eventually turned heel. But as of right now and according to the latest rumors, the plan is for Reigns to stay as a face and not turn heel despite the viscerally negative reaction.
Furthermore, some local advertisements have led to speculation that Roman Reigns and Big Show could compete in a Last Man Standing match at the Fast Lane pay-per-view next month.
On the WWE Network after the Royal Rumble, John Cena was doing an interview about his loss in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match with Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins. Rusev then showed up, grabbed the microphone, and started to talk in Russian. Cena got in his face, and the two had to be pulled apart. This was apparently to set up the rumored WrestleMania 31 match between the two. There are also rumors that Hulk Hogan could be involved, likely in Cena's corner.
Finally, PW Insider reports that Randy Orton was backstage last night in Philadelphia but obviously he did not appear in the Rumble as many had thought he would. As has been the case for weeks, his return is expected at any time.
