It's our right to be hellish, because we are so jealous of this Nick Jonas new. The star has not only been cast on this upcoming season of The Voice as a mentor for Christina Aguilera's team, but he also has some huge acting news. The "Jealous" singer will be featured on the upcoming Ryan Murphy and Fox project, Scream Queens. The FOX comedy and horror hybrid will also feature Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Jamie Lee Curtis, and many more.
The former Disney star has been tapped to star on the series, which will take place at a University that has been shaken by a series of brutal murders. According to Coming Soon, Jonas will also be appearing alongside Joe Manganiello, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, and Ariana Grande, who will star in a recurring guest spot.
Not only that, but Jonas is also set to make his The Voice debut as Christina Aguilera's mentor during the upcoming season, which will premiere in the next couple of weeks.
FOX exec Gary Newman spoke out to E! News about his excitement for Murphy's new show, earlier this year.
"We trust [Murphy] implicitly and he has proven over the years that he has great instincts for building characters that people care about and fall in love with," Newman explained to E! News. "He brings an outrageousness to what he does that is his unique signature and Scream Queens, he's literally the perfect person to do this. It's going to be an amazing, suspenseful, fun run."
Scream Queens, with its star-studded cast, is set to start filming this spring with a fall premiere date in mind.
