'Marvel's Agent Carter' Spoilers: Will Hayley Atwell, Dominic Cooper Become "Burdened" By Howard Stark? [WATCH]

Marvel's Agent Carter returns from its short break with an all-new episode on ABC. As the manhunt for Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper) led to the unfortunate death of an SSR member, will Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) become "burdened" by her attempts to clear his name?

In our first recap, Peggy (Atwell) was seen as a hero as she fought bravely in World War II, but her co-workers at the Strategic Scientific Reserve think she's a complete joke. Framed for crimes he didn't commit, Howard Stark (Cooper) needs Peggy to clear his name after his inventions, which he calls "bad babies," have been stolen. The search for a glowing bomb leads to the death of Peggy's roommate and a warning from the Leviathan.

In our second recap, Peggy searched for the assassin who murdered her roommate. The killer and Peggy fought on top of a moving truck rigged to explode. Peggy got her revenge but the deadly confrontation might lead the SSR team closer to he,r after they discovered a certain clue from a previous wreckage.

In our third recap, Jarvis, Stark's butler, was being interrogated by Jack, until Peggy ruined the investigation on purpose. The two were at odds until their partner Ray (Kyle Bornheimer) was violently murdered by a mysterious stranger. Whether they like Peggy or not, the entire SSR team has to pull together to find Ray's killer.

In an interview with IGN, creators Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely reveal how close father and son are in the Stark family. Markus describes Howard, "He's burdened in a different way. I think Tony's burdened with Howard, in a way. Howard raised Tony and that had all its own effects on him. I think Tony is much more flippant than Howard. Howard is a playboy but he's quite serious about what he's doing."

McFeely adds, "Partly, that's a function of the Iron Man movies, where Pepper becomes important and he's not a cad. We've not met Maria Stark so Howard can be as caddish as we'd like him to be. They're different in that way too."
