Tracy Morgan Pranks Twitter With Jimmy Kimmel At The Emmy's: Twitter Explodes With 25,000 Hits And Viewership Increases [Video]

Jimmy Kimmel and Tracy Morgan pranked the world last night at the 64^th Annual Emmy's causing a Twitter frenzy. Kimmel came out on stage and asked the audience to participate in a major prank for those who weren't watching the Emmy's. He looked into the crowd of celebrities and asked for a volunteer and pointed out to Tracy Morgan to join him on the stage. Then Kimmel told the audience to text, "OMG. Tracy Morgan just passed out on stage at the #Emmys. Turn ABC on right now." Before lying down, Morgan reached into his jacket and pulled out his pair of nun chucks and handed them to Kimmel and laid there while announcers walked by him.

Automatically, "OMG Tracy Morgan" was a trending topic and ratings shot up as people tuned in just to see Tracy Morgan laid out on stage. Celebrities such as: Seth McFarlane, Joel McHale, and Stephen Colbert received a massive amount of retweets.

There were some backlash and stabs made on twitter. Jose M. Iniguez tweeted, "Tracy Morgan #Emmys stunt like that #Survivor who lied about Granny's death for pity vote: got them far but big turn off if you fell for it."

Eventually, Morgan yelled, "Tell Kerry Washington I'm all right," as he was ragged off the stage. After this publicity stunt maybe Kimmel will be invited to host next year's Emmy's and hopefully have an annual celebrity prank. It's really funny seeing celebrities taking control of their own rumors.
