Despite Lil Wayne's ongoing feud with Cash Money Records, can fans expect the official release of Weezy's highly-anticipated (and constantly delayed) The Carter V sometime very soon?
Even better - is another classic mixtape on the way, too?
Earlier this week, DJ Drama hyped MORE new music on Instagram:
djdrama: "Sorry For The Wait 2. Carter V. Dedication 6."
As several MstarsNews readers already know, Wayne's hard-hitting follow-up mixtape Sorry 4 The Wait 2 hit the web just a few weeks ago. Now, Drama hints that the sixth installment of the highly-acclaimed Dedication series is on its way. But perhaps only AFTER the release of Weezy's upcoming eleventh studio album, The Carter V?
And that's exactly what Wayne and hip-hop mogul Bryan "Birdman" Williams are currently arguing about. In fact, the New Orleans emcee just sued his boss for a whopping $51 million in regards to all of the industry drama.
But is a resolution finally in the near future?
Mack Maine also shared this update on the popular social networking site:
mackmaineymcmb: "My dawg @djefeezyhh had the party jumpin last night Deaux!!! Sorry4TheWait2....wait till u see what we do next!! We workin!!"
Interestinly enough, Wayne's official account still remains deactivated.
As MTV reports, the first Dedication mixtape was released back in 2005. The second installment is now considered a hip-hop "classic."
So, despite the "bad blood" between the "Lollipop" crooner and Birdman, several fresh YMCMB beats are supposedly still on the way! Can't stop #TeamWeezy.
Amongst all of the Super Bowl mayhem, one of Wayne's latest tweets reads:
@LilTunechi: "U mad bro?"
Stay tuned as more details surrounding this new mixtape develop.
How many fans believe The Carter V will finally hit airwaves in 2015? Hopefully sooner rather than later...
