It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The St. Louis Blues battle it out on the ice against the Buffalo Sabres in Week 17 of the NHL regular season on Thursday, February 5 at 7:00 p.m. EST at the First Niagara Center in New York. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Thursday night hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
Following the first few weeks of the 2014=2015 regular season, the Blues snag the impressive No. 2 spot in Scott Burnside's official power rankings for ESPN.com with a 33-13-4 record:
"The Blues rolled over the Capitals in the nation's capital Sunday to keep the Predators within range. The win was the fifth in a row for the Blues, who are now 10-0-1 in their past 11. Big home tilt Tuesday against the Atlantic Division-leading Lightning, although potential loss of All-Star Kevin Shattenkirk is more than a little troubling."
Meanwhile, the Sabres currently hold the meager No. 30 spot (the last in the league) with a dismal 14-33-3 record. According to Burnside:
"The Sabres have not won since Dec. 27. You can't spell Buffalo these days without t-a-n-k."
One of the top NHL teams facing-off against the worst... should be an interesting game!
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels FSMW and MSGB, but fans can also listen in on the radio at WBUZ, WNSR, WGR 550, and WCMF.
