Fast & Furious 7 (Furious 7) star Vin Diesel has reflected on the death of his friend and co-star Paul Walker, and that he takes his Facebook feedback very seriously. So seriously, in fact, that it's the reason Crank and The Expendables star Jason Statham was hired as Furious 7's villain. The Guardians of the Galaxy star also explained that when he first got to Hollywood he worked as a bouncer, taught 'abs classes', and even did telemarketing before getting his big break.

Diesel was born and raised in New York, but when he was 23 and "had been acting for almost 15 years,I came out to California. I just believed I was going to be a movie star."
It didn't work out so great. "A year and a half later I didn't even have an agent," laughed the 51 year old actor, who has two kids with Mexican actress/model Paloma Jimenez, who he has been dating since 2007.
Turns out Diesel spent his time as a bouncer, taught abs classes at a gym, and even did 18 hour days as a telemarketer selling "rough surface lightbulbs." Check out Diesel explaining his early Hollywood years below:
Reflecting on his Fast & Furious co-star Paul Walker - who died in a car crash in November 2013 - Diesel revealed that there was "something special" about the studio in which he was chatting to Fallon.
It turns out it was where he and Walker met for the first time.
"We were doing a read through for the first Fast & Furious," Diesel explained, "and there were all these tables set up and it was our introduction."
Diesel also explained how he listens very carefully to his Facebook feedback, admitting that he uses it as inspiration and also led to the casting of Jason Statham as Furious 7's villain.
"It's always been important to me," the Riddick star admitted of his social media interactions. "I feel like if Marlon Brando had a Facebook there would've been an On The Waterfront 2.
Really?
"When you're alone and you're reading the feedback it hits you," Diesel explained. "If I go and say 'Who would you like to see me work with?' and I see the feedback comments 'Jason Statham, Jason Statham!' it's a good idea to listen to that. And now it is him!"
The Statham accent that Diesel and Fallon then put on to say things like "He'll break your back just by lookin' atcha," has to be seen top be believed. Check it out in the clip below.
