Ahead of its April premiere date for Season 3 set for BBC America, new teasing info has come forward for the sci-fi thriller, Orphan Black. Will leading lady Tatiana Maslany, the hardest working actress on TV, discover "an army of male clones" waiting for her in the upcoming season?
As we previously mentioned, con artist Sarah Manning (Maslany) discovers several people who look identical to her. Sarah and the others, including soccer mom Alison, killer Katja, and geek girl Cosima (all played by Maslany), happen to be part of a cloning experiment gone horribly wrong. The military, a corporation, and a religious cult all seem to be part of the conspiracy to get their hands on the clones and Sarah's daughter.
In the second season cliffhanger, it was revealed that not only does Sarah have sisters, her DNA was manipulated by geneticist to form male versions of herself. Her "brother," Mark Rollins/Rudy (Ari Millen) made a creepy appearance in the previous trailer, delivering the final line, "And they never will."
According to Entertainment Weekly, a list of staff picks for made for what audiences should be looking forward to this spring. While spring represents the time of season finales, it also marks the time of the year when viewers tune in to their summer shows. Those making the list are Outlander, Furious 7, Bloodline, and of course, Orphan Black.
EW states the major reason to see this series, "This season, there are male clones. I repeat: There are male clones."
