Marvel has announced their latest casting addition to their upcoming Netflix superhero series. The Matrix actress Carrie Anne-Moss joins Rachael Taylor (Patricia Walker), David Tennant (Killgrave), Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones) and Mike Colter (Luke Cage) in Marvel's A.K.A. Jessica Jones.
As we previously mentioned, Jessica Jones suffers from post-traumatic stress due to her superhero days. After giving up on her costumed lifestyle, Jones becomes the sole owner of Alias Private Investigations. The Netflix series follows the super-powered private eye as she investigates cases of the extraordinary kind.
Marvel announced that the Memento actress will play "a no-nonsense woman who could prove a powerful ally to Jessica...if Jessica doesn't completely alienate her first."
Executive Producer/Showrunner Melissa Rosenberg describes her newest cast member, "Throughout her career, Carrie-Anne has embodied a wide range of characters in a compelling and relatable way and I have no doubt she will bring that talent to A.K.A. Jessica Jones."
Jeph Loeb, Executive Producer and Marvel's Head of Television, adds, "Carrie-Anne has proven her ability to play complex characters with deep and layered inner lives. Her interaction with Jessica Jones will be one of the many highlights of the series."

We previously mentioned, the Crisis actress will play Patricia "Patsy Trish" Walker, aka Hellcat. As Jessica Jones' closest friend, Trish helps her embark on the most dangerous case of private investigator's career. The two might have to take down the the super villain, Zebediah Killgrave Tennnant).
