Bikini Basketball League: Orlando Lady Cats Ready For Launch By The End Of This Year [Photos]

Binkin Basketball is set to launch this year.  Established teams are Chicago Desire, Orlando LadyCats, Miami Spice, Los Angeles Ice, New York Knockouts, Hollywood Hotties and Atlanta Fleet Angels. Similar to Lingerie Football, the Bikini Basketball ladies will have to be in tip top shape in their sexy uniformed bikinis while they display competitive skills on the court.

According to the Miami Nugget, "This Saturday, aspiring athletes/exhibitionists "Candon a" sports bra and shorts and showcase their skills for a chance to earn a spot on the team's 2013 lineup. They're looking for 10 to 15 lucky ladies, and the stakes are high"

The Basketball Bikini League tweeted:

 A Miami Vice spokesperson said in a statement, "This is a competitive basketball league, so we are definitely looking for girls that can really play. It is also a bikini league in which the girls will be playing basketball in bikinis, so looking good in a bikini is a must."

The concept has been around since 2011 and is followed by the success of the Lingerie Football League, which was created in 2009 by Mitch Mortaza. Interestingly, the season may actually begin in the summer causing competition with the WNBA. There hasn't been any comments from the WNBA players or commissioner as of yet, but we definitely see it coming.
