'A-Force' Comic: 'Secret Wars' Tie-In: She-Hulk, Dazzler, & Medusa Join Marvel's All-Female Avengers!

Earth's Mightiest Heroes are no more in the aftermath of the epic crossover event, Secret Wars. Marvel Comics is putting together a brand new Avengers team, starring She-Hulk, Dazzler, Medusa, and more of the mightiest heroines as they unite to call themselves, A-Force.  

As we previously mentioned, Secret Wars features the Marvel superheroes from alternate realities coming together to meet in an epic standoff. The Marvel's superheroes and super-villains will be forced to defend themselves for the survival of their universe. There will be no Marvel Universe, no Ultimate Universe, or any other, just Battleworld.

The creative team of writers G. Willow Wilson (Ms. Marvel) and Marguerite K. Bennett (Angela: Asgard's Assassin), and artist Jorge Molina (X-Men), will bring in this brand new team in the midst of the Warzones. With Ms. Marvel already a smash hit, Wilson previously signed an exclusive agreement with Marvel. After taking on the all-female X-Men, we can't wait to see what she does next.

Wilson teases to Marvel which heroes will take center stage, "She-Hulk, Dazzler, Medusa, Nico Minoru and other fan favorites, will take charge. We've purposefully assembled a team composed of different characters from disparate parts of the Marvel U, with very different power sets, identities and ideologies."

The plot synopsis states, "And there came a day, a day unlike any other, when Earth's mightiest heroines found themselves united against a common threat. On that day, A-Force was born-to fight the foes no single Super Hero could withstand! Their glory will never been denied! Heed the call, A-Force Assemble!"

As we mentioned before, Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man, a comic we love so much and cover each month, will meets its end in issue #12. The Ultimate Universe is on a collision course with Earth-616 in Ultimate End.

A-Force arrives in May 2015, alongside Secret Wars #1 and Ultimate End #1.
