Looks like fans of Entourage have more to look forward to than just the upcoming movie of the famed HBO series. Actor-producer Mark Wahlberg, of whom Entourage was loosely based on, along with writer Ally Musika and Stephen Levinson will be joining DJ Jude Angelini – and more specifically his memoir Hyena – to create a comedy for HBO.
Wahlberg and Levinson were two of the main people responsible for Entourage, along with creator Doug Ellin, of course. Musika, however, came later on in the series as a writer and quickly turned into one of the lead writer-producers on the acclaimed show.
Deadline reports that the trio are reuniting for the story of "a guy in the entertainment industry." That guy, of course, is based on hip-hop radio host Jude Angelini, and will be titled Hyena––based on his memoir of the same name.
The publication notes that Musika was a fan of both Angelini and his book. Therefore, she "tracked down the property and has been driving the project." Which isn't totally shocking considering her status with the Entourage BTS crew.
Both Musika and Angelini will co-write the script alongside serving as exec producers.
Hyena, the memoir, tells the tale of Angelini's journey from growing up in a town outside Detroit, coming in contact with "drugs, sex, and the human condition."
Readers, which are you more excited for: the upcoming Entourage movie or the new Musika, Levinson, Angelini HBO project?

This collaboration isn't the first between Levinson and Wahlberg, as the two were executive producers on HBO's Boardwalk Empire and the network's upcoming series Ballers.
