It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The New Jersey Devils battle it out on the ice against the Chicago Blackhawks in Week 18 of the regular season on Friday, February 13 at 8:30 p.m. EST at the United Center in Illinois. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Friday evening hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
Heading into the middle of the 2014-2015 regular season, the Devils snag the No. 23 spot in Scott Burnside's official NHL power rankings for ESPN.com with a 21-24-9 winning record:
"Too little too late, but the Devils are playing some decent hockey of late, going 5-1-1 in their past seven. How many members of the Devils' aging forward corps get moved at the trade deadline?"
Meanwhile, the Blackhawks currently hold the steady No. 7 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 33-18-4 record. According to Burnside:
"The Blackhawks are getting over a little midseason slumber with two straight wins. Patrick Kane is making some Art Ross/Hart Trophy noise as he is now tied for the league lead in points with Tyler Seguin and Jakub Voracek."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels MSG+ and CSNC, but fans can also listen in on the radio at WFAN, 97.1 The Ticket, WGN, and WBUZ.
