Midfielder Adam Lallana this week told the press that a win over Palace would be an important victory for a lot of reasons.

"It's a massive game. We got taught a lesson by Palace earlier in the season. We owe them one," the player said, according to ZeeNews. "We've learned a lot from the difficulties we faced at the start of season. We have got everything to play for. Having a big mentality is massive, especially when you are at a club like Liverpool and have all these games to play.

Crystal Palace's manager, Alan Pardew played a big role in this FA Cup history between the EPL teams, scoring the winning goal for Palace in their 1990 4 - 3 victory. He didn't talk to the press this week, though, but sent his assistant, Keith Millen to talk about the match.

"This is going to be a tough game, they've got a threat going forward but it's the beauty of the cup tomorrow," the assistant coach said.
