It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The Boston Bruins battle it out on the ice against the Vancouver Canucks in Week 18 of the NHL regular season on Friday, February 13 at 10:00 p.m. EST at Rogers Arena in British Columbia. Following the first few opening weeks of the 2014-2015 regular season, the Bruins snag the steady No. 9 spot in Scott Burnside's official NHL power ranking for ESPN.com with a 28-19-7 record:
"The Bruins are back in beast mode, except of course when they play the Canadiens."
Meanwhile, the Canucks currently maintain the No. 15 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 30-20-3 record. According to Burnside:
"The Canucks are in win-lose-win mode and that won't cut it. They have a big week ahead with Minnesota, Chicago, Boston and Calgary. Tough road."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels NESN and RSNP, but fans can also listen in on the radio at Sports Hub 98.5, ESPN 101.3, Team 1040, and CKNW.
