The February 16, 2015 edition of WWE's Monday Night Raw will emanate live from the Amway Center in Orlando at 8 p.m. Eastern and will serve as the go-home show for the Fast Lane pay-per-view on Sunday.
The show will air on the USA Network but if you can't watch on TV, then you can try here or here, both of which broadcast free live streams of the show (this may require downloading a torrent).
The main event program features Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan to earn a spot in the main event of WrestleMania 31 against Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The debate is running wild among the hardcore WWE fans as to who will win this contest on Sunday.
So let's consider the conflicting rumors that have been circulating. The latest report from The Wrestling Observer says WWE's plan for the main event of WrestleMania 31 is to pit Brock Lesnar, Daniel Bryan, and Roman Reigns against each other in a Triple Threat match. The report also notes that this plan could change between now and the Fast Lane pay-per-view next Sunday.
But keep in mind what noted Reddit user MetsFan4Ever posted recently:
"I have been told and it has been 100% confirmed that Roman Reigns is indeed defeating Daniel Bryan at WWE Fast Lane.
I was also told the only reason this match was made was to quiet the 'marks' for a few weeks while they try to get Roman over. Regardless of the reaction in the next few weeks, Roman is the man and will be headlining WrestleMania and defeating Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship.
I've also been told that despite his smaller size, Bryan is considered one of the more physical in ring workers in the WWE. Thus he has been picked to work with Roman to get him ready for the physicality that is Brock Lesnar. It is comparing Bryan to Curtis Axel. Bryan is the Curtis Axel to Roman's Rock.
The last reason I was given is that WWE knows full well that people are going to watch WrestleMania no matter what. I was told they could've put Doink vs. Brock Lesnar and the fans would be watching. At this point, WWE considers the WrestleMania name bigger than any of the superstars on the show."
Reign and Bryan will almost assuredly face off tonight before their official bout on Sunday. The Authority has done a solid job of pitting the two in tag team matches to force them to work together, but with the ultimate end goal of driving a wedge between them. And so far, it's worked. Will Reigns and Bryan be able to co-exist tonight, or will they come to blows?
Dusty Rhodes will also appear on the show tonight to try to keep his family together, as Goldust and Stardust have been at odds recently. Cody Rhodes appears to have completely snapped and fallen into the Stardust persona, but can Dusty snap him out of it?
In news outside the ring, Cesaro's Twitter account appears to have been hacked, as some incendiary tweets got posted under his official handle. The tweets discussed Cesaro's lack of a push and the news he apparently received that he wouldn't be receiving any titles in the future. It will be interesting to see if WWE addresses this at all tonight.
John Cena and Rusev will meet this Sunday, as well. Rusev knocked Cena out cold last week, but will the 15-time champion get the upper hand tonight?
