It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The Nashville Predators battle it out on the ice against the New York Islanders in Week 19 of the NHL regular season on Thursday, February 19 at 7:00 p.m. EST at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Thursday night hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
Heading into the 2014-2015 regular mid-season, the Predators snag the impressive No. 1 spot in Scott Burnside's official NHL power ranking for ESPN.com with a 39-12-6 record:
"The Preds have won five in a row and continue to assert themselves as the best team in the NHL. They got Colin Wilson back after a brief absence, and Pekka Rinne continues his assault on the Vezina and possibly the Hart trophies. Nashville repatriated Cody Franson to an already impressive blue line, and Mike Santorelli should be a welcome addition to the top nine up front."
Meanwhile, the Islanders currently hold the awesome No. 4 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 38-19-1 record. According to Burnside:
"The Islanders are rolling with four straight wins and currently reside atop the Metropolitan Division standings. How good has Anders Lee been?"
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels FSTN and MSG+, but fans can also listen in on the radio at WBUZ, WNSR, KWSN, and 740 The Fan.
