'Started From the Bottom, Now We Here': Tia Mowry's Husband Cory Hardrict Recalls Couple's Younger Years of Dating, Actor Claims She Saw Potential in Him

Cory Hardrict should win "husband of the year" for the comments he made in regards to his relationship with actress Tia Mowry. He truly "started from the bottom, now we here," and her recalled the couple's years dating, claiming she saw potential in him.

In a new interview with Global Grind's Blogxilla, Hardrict didn't only promote his hit film American Sniper, he talked about his beautiful wife Tia.

If you are a Sister, Sister fan, then you probably know this love story has been in the making for more than a decade.

During his one-on-one time with the site, Cory revealed that his wife Tia loved him when he was broke and shouted her out for not only loving him, but seeing the greatness that he'd become.

"I had odd jobs. I worked at Kmart, graveyard shift, security. That's when I was just grinding, man," Cory recalled. "I met my wife during them days. She was with me. She was just coming out of Sister, Sister, but they had everything, man, and I didn't have anything. I had a studio apartment, sleeping in the corner, no furniture for almost two years."

Who knew a bus stop would begin the their fairy tale romance. Who knew the bus stop would lead Tia and Cory to get married in 2008 and produce son Cree Taylor Hardrict, now 3.

“I was waiting on a bus stop -- after I shot my first film. Her sister and her drove by, they saw me waiting and asked to give me a ride. I was embarrassed. I was downtown. They gave me a ride and we were friends ever since. They took me to Inglewood, so that’s how that relationship started. We were friends, we started dating and it just went from there," he said.

Cory gained brownie points when he talked about how supportive his wife was back then and now.

“I think it was what my wife saw in me. She saw an honest man who had a dream. I just had a vision, man. I didn’t come in selling no games,” Cory said. “I feel like a man can just hold his own and be a man. I don’t have to play no games with nobody and she respected that and it was what it was.”

Now with all the love talk, will this couple have another baby? MStars News previously reported that rumors were swirling Tia was pregnant, just like her twin sister Tamera Mowry-Housley.

Despite the rumors, Tia claimed that there's no baby bump on her side. Her sister, however, is due in July. She and her husband Adam Housley will be welcoming their second child, a baby girl, to give older brother Aden John Tanner Housley a playmate.
