Chris Brown Dumps Girlfriend, Karrueche Tran: Rihanna Friendship Is The Reason, Wishes Ex Happiness

Chris Brown dumped his girlfriend, Karrueche Tran over his friendship with Rihanna. Brown released a statement saying, "I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much but I don't want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna, I'd rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives."

Brown's major announcement comes after he was caught making out and dancing with his ex-girlfriend; Rihanna at nightclub in the meatpacking district in New York called Griffin. Allegedly, the couple disappeared into a bathroom together for 20 minutes and when they came out, Rihanna was said to look "ruffled." Around 4 am Brown left the club and Rihanna followed 5 minutes later. The next day Brown was reportedly, seen leaving the Ganesvoort Park hotel where Rihanna was staying to go visit his girlfriend Karrueche Tran at her hotel.

It gets better! News broke this morning about the two friends when pictures surfaced of them getting cozy at a Jay-Z concert last night in Brooklyn. Immediately, it seemed to confirm that there was trouble in Brown and Tran's relationship. Tran's twitter page exploded with fans trying to know about their status, but she remained silent.

Eventually, Brown acknowledged the rumors and ended his relationship with Tran. Sparks between Brown and Rihanna seem to really hit off after she did an interview with Oprah where she choked up over Brown, revealing she still loved him and remains close to the singer.
