‘New York Spring Spectacular’ Rockettes Radio City Musical Hall Performance To Feature 50 Cent, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Kelly Ripa, And More [VIDEO]

Folks, it doesn't have to be Christmas time for you to head to New York City and see the famed Rockettes in action. The organizers over at the iconic Radio City Music Hall have put together the New York Spring Spectacular––which stars the likes of Derek Hough, Laura Benanti, Lenny Wolpe and Jared Grimes in an all-out love letter to New York City. If you're in the tri-state area, you'll know it already from those ever-so catchy commercials featuring Taylor Swift's "Welcome to New York." The limited engagement is reportedly going to run from March 26 through May 3, with preview performances beginning March 12. And it's just been announced that the show is amping up the star power with the likes of 50 Cent, Tina Fey, Kelly Ripa and Amy Poehler, who will all be joining in on the fun via video and voice cameos!

As mentioned, the event celebrates all that is New York: the sports, the sights, the sounds and the endless possibilities! And with Poehler and Fey voicing the two lions in front of the New York Public Library, you can guess the entertainment value just got a big bump!

Via a press release from MSG Entertainment, "New York Spring Spectacular takes audiences on a whirlwind adventure across New York City while telling an inspiring and hopeful narrative about New Yorkers who change each other's lives in unexpectedly wonderful ways."

The show follows Bernie (Wolpe), an old-fashioned New York City tour guide whose company is purchased by a new "whip smart techie" who plans to fire him and turn his business into a virtual reality tour. With that, Hough (playing Jack) enters to help Bernie save his job –– mainly so he can gain an "eternal reward."

Matched with the Rockettes, producer Harvey Weinstein says of the show, "Combining the extraordinary talents of performers and celebrities such as Carmelo Anthony, Laura Benanti, Tina Fey, Whoopi Goldberg, Derek Hough, Henrik Lundqvist, Amy Poehler and Belle Thorne with our award-winning creative team is my own personal version of the 'Dream Team.'"
