WWE will air its Fast Lane pay-per-view on Sunday, February 22 at 8 p.m. Eastern from the FedEx Forum in Memphis. The main event pits Daniel Bryan against Roman Reigns for the right to face Brock Lesnar in the main event of WrestleMania 31 for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
If you do not order the event on pay-per-view, you can try here.
In case you missed it, here is our preview for the show.
The Usos (c) (w/Naomi) vs. Tyson Kidd and Cesaro (w/Natalya) for the WWE Tag Team Championships
Fans have tired of The Usos, but it's hard to deny their skill and their ability to put on a great match. Tyson Kidd and Cesaro are brilliant in the ring, so this has the potential to be an early show-stealer. But WWE seems committed to The Usos as champions, so let's roll with it.
Winner: The Usos
Goldust vs. Stardust
The Dust Brothers will finally collide after years of teasing and rumors. This would seem to be a match more suited for WrestleMania, so perhaps we'll get, appropriately, a Dusty Finish to this match to set up the rematch at WrestleMania 31. But if we have to pick a winner, the younger brother gets it.
Winner: Stardust
Bad News Barrett (c) vs. Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental Championship
Only in the WWE can a man ziptie another man's hands together and literally take those hands and force him to sign a contract for a title match and have this be totally on the up and up. We always hear about how the Intercontinental Championship needs to be elevated, and Ambrose could certainly do that. That's no knock on Barrett, but Ambrose is far more over with the fans. The Lunatic Fringe as IC Champ would be an interesting wrinkle to Mania.
Winner: Dean Ambrose
Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, and Erick Rowan vs. Seth Rollins, Kane, and Big Show (w/J&J Security)
WWE is wringing all the mileage out of Survivor Series that it can. The babyface team is kind of a "Yeah why not?" grouping, and The Authority guys need something to do. Rollins is too hot right now, so his team gets the victory.
Winner: Seth Rollins, Kane, and Big Show
Rusev (c) (w/Lana) vs. John Cena for the WWE United States Championship
For all the eye rolling fans did when this feud began, it's actually one of the hottest matches on the card. Rusev is undefeated, and Cena is unbeatable. This truly has an old school, 80s feel to it. The unstoppable force vs. the immovable object. There has to be a dirty finish of some sort to protect both guys for the rematch at Mania. It should be interesting, too, because Rusev has a submission finisher and Cena has not tapped out since about 2005. But in the interest of planning for Mania, we'll take the Russian hero.
Winner: Rusev
Nikki Bella (c) (w/Brie Bella) vs. Paige for the WWE Divas Championship
Both competitors in this match are more than capable of putting on a great show. Say what you want about Nikki, but she has improved by leaps and bounds in the last year or so. Paige, as always, is wonderful. The feud is not doing them justice, unfortunately, as WWE continues to book its women as catty and petty. But the match should be solid and should set up a return at Mania.
Winner: Nikki Bella
Daniel Bryan vs. Roman Reigns
This match truly has me perplexed, in a good way. I have no idea how this is going to end. Reigns could beat Bryan cleanly, or he could benefit from some sort of interference. That interference could give Bryan a claim to make a Triple Threat match in the main event of WrestleMania 31. There's a slim chance Bryan outright beats Reigns, too. One of these guys could turn heel. Anything is possible here, and that is best for business. But, because we're making predictions here...
Winner: Roman Reigns
