So, did everyone see John Travolta and Idina Menzel make amends during last night's 87th Oscars? You know, because he totally butchered her name at last year's Academy Awards. Well, it appears the two decided to face the music straight on and make a joke of it during last night's ceremony. And while it was great that they were able to create some funny, it seems Menzel and the Oscar writers overlooked one thing ... John Travolta is kind of creepy.

Calling out her "very dear friend, Glom Gazingo," Travolta took to the stage with a big smile, ready to rectify any misdoings he may have done the year before. And while he certainly did do that, making us forget all about his hilarious flub last year (kind of), he also succeeded in being really, really, really weird.

Luckily, Menzel was a total trooper, probably waiting until they got backstage to ask, "What the hell is wrong with you??"

But not Menzel, who just stood there like a professional ... taking in all the creepiness ... just ... Frozen.

Not only did he touch the woman's face, but he also kept his hand on her chin for far, far, far too long. Anytime longer than one second is far too long. And Travolta, well, yeah... he clenched!

The actor succeeded in making himself a headline IMMEDIATELY after his claw grabbed Menzel's chin. Our question is: when did he realize it was a horrible choice?
