'True Detective' Season 2 Plot Details, 2015 Spoilers [PHOTOS] Check Out Colin Farrell & Taylor Kitsch In Character In New Set Images

While details of the upcoming 2^nd season of HBO's popular crime drama True Detective are pretty sparse, this week we saw some great photos of Colin Farrell and Taylor Kitsch to at least show us what the actors look like in the 2015 episodes. From the looks of these images, series creator Nic Pizzolatto has these stars sweating it out in the California sun, with some intense scenes headed our way!

Posted to the official Twitter account of the popular show (via Warming Glow), we get to see Farrell and his mustache in action, looking like a tough detective. Plus, one image features Kitsch getting a pretty stern talking to from Farrell's character, making us wonder what kind of personal troubles these partners will face in the second season.

Meanwhile, another star of the upcoming season, Vince Vaughn opened up to Playboy Magazine about the plot details of the 2015 episodes.

"It's a totally different story, with its own characters. The thing that's consistent is the richness of the characters and the quality of the material," he told the magazine. "That was Louisiana. This is a California-based story, and it was kind of birthed from here. A lot of it is set in Los Angeles. I really like my character. Nic is so great about investigating characters and their complexities in an authentic and engaging way. I want to watch this show not because I'm in it but as a fan of the material."
