Several reports confirm that "The Walking Dead" star Markice Moore attempted suicide earlier this month. The "ATL" rapper was found unresponsive after overdosing on a dangerous mix of Xanax and the popular tequila beverage, Patron. Moore survived the scary ordeal, and is currently in recovery.
According to TMZ, friends found Moore (also known as Kesan) almost near death at his Woodland Hills home early Tuesday morning (February 17). Authorities were immediately called to the scene. Moore (who made a brief cameo as a prison survivor named Andrew on Season 3 of the hit AMC drama) was then rushed to the hospital for treatment. He was later placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold before being released under supervision. He is now undergoing therapy.
Apparently, Moore even recorded a heartbreaking "Goodbye" video for his family. The actor's manager claims that Moore was extremely distraught and depressed following his grandmother's recent passing. In the unreleased suicide clip, Moore "outlined his plan to end his life, telling his kids why he wanted to take such a drastic measure" (via TMZ).
The former "From G's To Gents" MTV reality hypeman was involved in some serious legal issues several years ago. In 2010, he was charged with cruelty to children after investigators determined that he assaulted his infant daughter. The charges were ultimately suspended in 2012. He eventually married his baby mama, and they welcomed another girl after tying the knot.
