Miley Cyrus recently joined cast and crew on the set of "Two and a Half Men" to begin filming for her upcoming multi-episode guest appearance on the hit CBS sitcom. Apparently Cyrus had a blast working with "such an awesome group of people," and rumors have it that the 20-year-old even caught the smitten eye of 19-year-old co-star Angus T. Jones.
Miley is set to play "Missi" in the new fall season of "Two and a Half Men" - a sexy, feisty character who makes the rich and handsome Walden Schmidt (played by Ashton Kutcher) begin to actually "feel his own age" (according to E! News). She also plays the flirty love interest for Angus T Jones' character, Jake, who meets her after he returns from the Army to visit his dad Alan Harper (John Cryer). CBS recently released a number of photos from the upcoming episodes featuring Cyrus, which fans can view here.
Cyrus tweeted this on Saturday about her "Two and a Half Men" experience:
@MileyCyrus: "I had the best time on 2.5 men ❤❤❤ 2 episodes down :) I see why they've done 10 years of this. Such an awesome group of people."
And according to the National Enquirer (so don't be quick to believe everything you read), Jones quickly became an avid fan of Cyrus while filming, even following her around on the set like a "puppy dog."
"Angus was adorable," a "Two and a Half Men" insider gushed to the tabloid. "He was constantly trying to get her attention. It was obvious Angus was very nervous because he didn't know what to say when she asked him a question. But that didn't stop him from popping up everywhere she went."
The inside source goes on to claim that Jones would scoop up Cyrus if things ever turned sour between her and current fiancé Liam Hemsworth: "Miley has been booked for a couple of episodes of the show as a romantic possibility for Jake, but Angus is telling friends he wishes she could be his girlfriend in real life! Miley's not interested in anyone other than Liam, but she still thinks it's cute that Angus is so starry-eyed around her... Although Angus respects her relationship, he's telling his friends if they break up, he'll be there for a shoulder for her to cry on - and hopefully more."
Seems a bit out there, but with Cyrus' charm and new funky style, who knows!
The debut of Cyrus as Missi on "Two and a Half Men" happens on the October 18 episode entitled, "You Know What the Lollipop is For." The comedy show airs on Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. on CBS.
