If you were already convinced that the upcoming April 14, 2015 release from Netherrealm Studios, Mortal Kombat X was pretty brutal, you're in for a rude awakening thanks to the introduction of finishing moves deemed "Brutalities." While "Fatalities" are pretty epic on their own, Brutalities are gruesome, unmerciful and just plain over-the-top. Just this week, the development studio hosted a Twitch stream to introduce and discuss these new finishing moves! We have the video footage below, so keep reading and enjoy!

During this stream from earlier in the week, we got to see some very gory footage of new and returning characters taking care of business in the most brutal ways possible. Sometimes you beat an opponent to death, or maybe you use your powers, either way, the studio says that there are over 100 different Brutalities out there.
According to IGN, while Fatalities are triggered through complicated button patterns, Brutalities are dependent on the environment and the condition in which you win. For instance, if you win the game with a throw move, the Brutality kicks in and the bloody animations begin. That's just one instance, too!
